Expository
A style of preaching that goes verse by verse through books of the Bible, explaining the original meaning and context of the text and applying it to the lives of the listeners.
Calvinistic
The good news of God electing some to salvation not because of any merit or even foreseen faith but simply by His free will and unmerited grace for those whom Christ redeemed upon the cross.
Cessationist
Although God still does miracles, certain spiritual gifts were miraculous sign gifts during the apostolic period and are no longer in operation today.
Dispensational
A futuristic view of prophecy that flows from a literal interpretation that allows for symbols, figures of speech and types, seeing Israel having a future role in God’s plan.
